As an artist, I often find myself deep in the creative process with little bandwidth for the logistical and business challenges that inevitably arise. That's where Dani has been invaluable. Over the more than dozen years I've worked with her, she has consistently stepped in at exactly the right moment with the right resources. When I was developing a large-scale sculpture and couldn't find a structural solution to support its height, Dani immediately connected me with an engineer who provided an excellent answer — one I'm moving forward with. When I mentioned I was considering a book about my art, she wasted no time brainstorming a full network of contacts spanning writing, design, publishing, and distribution. What sets Dani apart isn't just her knowledge — it's her instinct for understanding what an artist actually needs and her access to a vast network of skilled professionals and organizations to make it happen. For any nonprofit or artist looking for a true advocate and strategic partner, I can't recommend her highly enough.

I have known Dani for over twenty years through our shared work in the arts field. When we first met, she was the Executive Director of YoloArts, a countywide organization in Northern California, and I watched her transform it into a vital resource for artists across the region. When the 2008 financial recession hit and art sales dropped dramatically, Dani developed a series of workshops that guided artists toward public art opportunities, opening a door I had never considered. That pivot changed the trajectory of my career in ways I continue to experience today. She also created a regional initiative connecting artists with farms for creative inspiration, a program that has since spread throughout the country. Dani has an incredible ability to identify funding opportunities, build meaningful partnerships, and translate ideas into real opportunities. The outcome for me personally has been tremendous growth, both locally and nationally. Dani has a rare gift for connecting people with exactly the resources and relationships they need at the right moment. Any nonprofit or artist fortunate enough to work with her will find not just an advisor, but a true champion for their success.
